Toffee apples and huge oak press are highlights of Painswick Big Apple Day

TOFFEE apples, homemade cider and apple bobbing were just some of the things on offer at the Painswick Big Apple Day on Sunday.
An oak apple press was set up in St. Mary's churchyard in Stroud Road where residents could bring their own fruit to be pressed and turned into juice to take home.
Live music played throughout the day and when people got sick of eating apples there was a homemade harvest lunch available.
The day is organised by the Painswick Community Orchard group. For more information about the group visit www.painswickcommunityorchard.co.uk.
