100 volunteers to descend on Stroud to carry out restoration work on the canal

ONE hundred volunteers will descend on Stroud next month to help restore the Cotswold Canals.
On Saturday, November 9 and Sunday, November 10 around 100 Waterway Recovery Group volunteers will help the Cotswold Canals Trust carry out essential winter restoration work.
Volunteers will help with canal vegetation, lock clearance and scaffolding and concrete work along the line of the canal from Brimscombe Port towards Stroud.
