THE 32nd Stroud Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, October 27, at 10am from Marling School, in Cainscross Road.
Organised by Stroud & District Athletics Club, sponsored by Griffiths Marshall, Chartered Accountants of Gloucester and Lydney, Ecotricty and Dairy Crest, this year’s race is supporting Teckels Animal Sanctuaries, in Whitminster.
As well as the Half Marathon there will be two separate junior races - a one-kilometre race (school year four to six, minimum age nine years) and a one-mile race (school year seven to 11).
Stroud & District Athletics Club would like to apologise in advance for the disruption to road users during the race.
These closures are implemented in conjunction with the police and Gloucestershire Highways to ensure the safety and well being of all involved.
