Police warning after two linked burglaries in rural areas of Stroud

POLICE are urging residents in rural areas to review their security measures following two linked burglaries in Stroud.
Offenders broke into a tractor shed in Westrip between 8pm on Friday (October 11) and 9.30am on Saturday (October 12) by breaking a padlock.
They then moved a tractor to get to and steal a generator worth several thousand pounds.
Stables in Gloucester Road, Randwick were also broken into on the same night and a petrol strimmer and generator were taken.
Anyone with information on either crime should call 101, quoting incident 186 of October 12 (Westrip burglary) or 216 of October 12 (Randwick burglary).
