TINY tots put their best foot forward to raise money for charity this week by wearing their wellies for wildlife.
Children from Lakefield Nursery in Frampton on Severn were sponsored to wear their favourite wellington boots to school on Wednesday, October 16 and raised £28 for Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust.
Cars, ladybirds, footballs and Peppa Pig were just some of the designs which donned the children's feet.
Nursery manager Sue Gould said: “The children have been learning all about mini beasts and we have even created our own woodland in the nursery.
“One of the grandads who used to be a bee keeper also came into the nursery to give a talk about bumble bees.”
On Wednesday the children also enjoyed a wildlife walk in the rain making the most of their waterproof footwear.
