M5 closed between junction 13 and 14 because of a serious accident
The M5 is closed southbound between junction 13, Stroud, and junction 14, Thornbury because of a serious accident involving two lorries and a van.
All traffic is to leave the M5 southbound at junction 13 and follow the solid circle diversion symbol via the A38 southbound to rejoin the M5 at junction 14.
Currently estimated travel time is 90 minutes.
Traffic is queueing six miles from junction 13 of the M5 back towards junction 12 causing serious congestion around Hardwicke.
Traffic is also slow along the A419 from the Boakes Drive junction towards the A38.
