Series of films about fracking to be screened in Stroud
TRANSITION Stroud is screening a number of shorts films about the controversial process of fracking at the Lansdown Hall in Stroud on Sunday, November 10.
The free event, which starts at 7pm and will be followed by a discussion, is the latest in Transition Stroud’s bi-monthly series of films and will address questions such as: What is hydraulic fracturing? Where is it proposed? Why is it being introduced to the UK? Why is there opposition? What's this got to do with climate change?
Transition Stroud is a network for local people and groups working on the transition to a locally-based low carbon lifetsyle.
