TWO out of three men arrested over the death of Richard Miles who was found with a knife in his chest 20 years ago will face no further police action.

Richard Miles, 29, from Newtown near Stonehouse, was found stabbed in his garden in 1993.

The three arrests were made last month after a man dialled the non-emergency 101 police phone line.

A 53-year-old from Quedgeley, arrested on suspicion of murder, has had his bail extended until 29 January.

A spokesman for Gloucestershire Police said the other two men, a 44-year-old from Longford who was arrested on suspicion of murder, and a 66-year-old from Stonehouse, who was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice, have had their bail cancelled and will face no further action.
