A YOUNG mum accused of being involved in the supply of £40,000 worth of the drug 'Meow Meow' is to stand trial in the New Year.
Rianne Mordaunt, aged 25, of Bristol Road, Quedgeley, appeared before Gloucester Crown Court on Monday, December 9, to face the charge.
It is alleged she was concerned in the supply of almost two kilos of mephedrone which was found in a Peugeot 206 car in which she was travelling on the M5 between junctions 10 and 11 on October 8 last year.
She was the registered keeper of the vehicle and was the front seat passenger when police stopped it.
The car was allegedly being driven by her partner Reuben Brissett, 33, of the same address.
Brissett has admitted possessing the drug, also known as MCat, with intent to supply and is due to be sentenced on December 19.
Judge William Hart bailed Miss Mordaunt pending a plea and case management hearing on February 28.
