COMMUTERS faced long delays yesterday, Thursday, after a woman was rescued from her car when it overturned in Bristol Road, Stonehouse.
Police, fire crews and paramedics were called to the incident at the junction with Oldends Lane around 5pm after it was reported that a woman had crashed her car into the kerb causing it to overturn.
The woman was rescued from the vehicle by the fire crews and treated for minor injuries at the scene by paramedics.
Traffic was delayed while the vehicle was recovered from the road.
