Two charged in connection with Forest poaching incident
Two people have been charged in connection with a poaching incident in the Forest of Dean.
Andrew John Mcnanee, 29, of Lliswerry Park Drive in Newport and Dean Penn, 23, of Firbank Crescent, in Newport, were both charged with coming from land possessing an article for killing/taking game.
They will appear before magistrates in Cheltenham on Thursday, January 30.
The charges relate to a report of lamping at an estate in Aylburton, Lydney at about 9.45pm on Wednesday, December 11.
The police helicopter was involved in a search of the area, which culminated in two arrests at about 10.50pm.
