EYELASHES can be full, fluttery and fabulous with a set of extensions at a new salon in Stroud.

Lash Chic recently opened at the new Ebley Wharf development offering semi-permanent eyelash extensions – the fastest growing salon service in the UK.

Lashes are made thicker and longer by attaching individual synthetic eyelashes to natural ones.

There is no need for mascara, making it quicker to get ready in the morning, and eyes look brighter with the skin around them looking healthier due to less exposure to rubbing with make-up remover.

The extensions take around two hours to apply and last for up to six weeks.

Once you have your first full set, your long lashes can last indefinitely with regular infills.

Technician Tiffany Schmidt, who trained with leading eyelash extension brand Lash Perfect, said: “I decided to train to be a lash technician because I enjoyed mine so much.

“It is fantastic being able to make people feel good about themselves and emphasise their natural beauty.

“The lashes are light and comfortable to wear and last for weeks. You never have to wear mascara.

“They save so much time as well when you are getting ready.

“When applied professionally they do not damage the natural eyelash which can be the case with traditional self applied false eyelashes

"Lashes are suitable for any age for example, as we age our lashes thin, so we can give a more youthful restored look.

“There are lashes of different lengths and thickness so no matter what look you like whether its dramatic or natural we can achieve that for you.”

Lash Chic is part of Coco Chic and is offering a 10 per cent discount throughout December.

A full set costs £80. Call the salon on 01453 757805.
