YOUNG violinist Daniel Harding, 13, will add another string to his bow when he plays with one of the world's top children's orchestras.
Marling School pupil Daniel has been selected to play with the main orchestra of the National Children's Orchestra of Great Britain.
He first joined the group's south west regional orchestra in 2012 and this year played with the under 13 orchestra.
“I am delighted to be offered a place in the main orchestra," said Daniel, who passed his grade 8 violin exam with distinction earlier this year.
"I love playing my violin."
Daniel, who has been playing the violin for eight years, has weekly 30 minute lessons with Jonathan Trim through Marling School.
He will now attend exciting residential courses with tutors from major national orchestras and specialist music schools, culminating with performances at prestigious venues across the country.
