PUPILS from Leonard Stanley Primary School have been working with housing developers Barratt Homes to promote safety on building sites.
Children at the school in Bath Road have been demonstrating their creative skills by designing site safety posters which will be used by Barratt Homes.
Deputy headteacher Andy Babbage said: “The pupils really enjoyed creating their entries and it’s really refreshing to have a large housebuilder like Barratt Homes work so closely with us.”
Carolyn Bamber and Bethan Powell from Barratt Homes, which has ongoing developments in Dove Hill, Stonehouse and Royal Parade, Quedgeley, presented the winning entries with selection boxes during an assembly at the school.
Andrea Pilgrim, sales director for Barratt Homes, said: “The competition was a lot of fun for the pupils and our staff who judged the entries.”
