Hardwicke man pleads guilty to robbery and unlawful wounding

A HARDWICKE man will be sentenced next month on charges of robbery, attempted robbery and unlawful wounding.

Michael Orchard, 23, of Stockdale Close, has pleaded guilty to robbing Kevin Fenemore of a phone and £10 and trying to rob Mohammed Rahman on September 28.

He has also admitted causing grievous bodily harm to Dean Rhodes on October 30 and being in breach of a suspended jail term for dangerous driving and driving with excess alcohol.

On Monday, December 23, Judge Jamie Tabor adjourned the case for sentence until January 16 pending reports on the extent of injuries suffered by Mr Rhodes.

Orchard was remanded in custody.
