Donate unwanted PCs to schools in Africa

UNWANTED PCs can be taken to a collection at Tesco in Stroud on Saturday.

Rotarians will once again be collecting IT equipment for Cheltenham charity IT Schools Africa.

The items will be refurbished and distributed to schools in Africa.

The collection will run from 11am to noon at the store in Stratford Road.

This year, they are desperate for flat screens.

Donations of the following equipment in working order is also much needed: working desk top computers – Pentium IV or above, Celeron 1,400Mhz or above.

Machines should be under six years old.

Flat-screen monitors, laptops (Pentium IV and above), must be accompanied by power adaptor, keyboards, mice and power leads. B/W laser printers, spare hard-drives, CD drives and floppy
drives.
