Several hundred pounds stolen from man, 59, in Nailsworth mugging

POLICE are appealing for information after a man was mugged in Nailsworth.

The incident happened at around 12.15am near the junction of Old Horsley Road and Brewery Lane on Sunday December 29.

The victim, a 59-year-old local man, was walking home when he was approached by the offender.

The victim was pushed into a stationary car which caused him to fall to the ground. Several hundred pounds was taken from the victim’s pocket.

The offender was described as white, male and between 20 and30-years-old. He was wearing a black leather jacket.

Anyone with any information about the incidentis asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 115 ofDecember 30.
