TODAY marks the start of Cobalt’s annual ‘Big Sort’ of used Christmas cards at Linton House, Cheltenham. For the next three weeks our hard-working volunteers will be sorting through the hundreds of thousands of Christmas cards that are donated to the charity by local people and businesses each January and choosing the designs to be made into new cards for Christmas 2014.

It’s easy to get involved! Please donate your old Christmas cards to us between now and Wednesday, January 15th. Cards can be dropped off at Linton House, Thirlestaine Road, Cheltenham, GL53 7AS at any time. For your convenience, if you bring your cards to us out of office hours then simply follow the signs to the secure collection bins at the side of the building.

Cobalt’s Head of Fundraising, Sam Watson, says, “Each year the Charity raises over £35,000 from the sale of our recycled cards and a quarter of this comes from our Christmas cards. We really appreciate the support from everyone in the local community who donate their old Christmas cards to us, so please do so again this year and help us to continue to help local people.”
