Community stalwart Mary Coates bought some festive cheer to the Stonehouse Pensioners Club.
Mrs Coates, who was awarded person of the year for her ceaseless work in the community at the Stonehouse Civic Awards last year, hosted a Christmas lunch for the Pensioner’s Club at Stonehouse Community Centre.
Dozens of residents attended the lunch which was catered by Cam based catering firm Pat-a-Cakes which provided a full turkey dinner with all the trimmings.
Anyone interested in joining the Pensioner’s Club should call 01453 823241 for further details.
The group meets every other Wednesday at the Stonehouse Community Centre in Laburnum Walk just off the High Street.
