HUNDREDS of school children will be inspired to pursue a career in green industries at a careers event at Stratford Park Leisure Centre.
More than 400 secondary school children from across Gloucestershire will attend Your Green Future on Tuesday, February 4 and Wednesday, 5 February, and learn about job opportunities available in a growing green economy.
Sainsbury’s, Jaguar Land Rover and Ecotricity will be represented at the event along with local businesses and organisations.
It will include a Dragons’ Den-style workshop where students will invest in cutting edge innovations.
The event has been organised by Stroud District Council and Severn Wye Energy Agency.
