RAIL passengers face delays due to signalling problems between London and Reading.

Commuters between London and Gloucester are facing delays up to two hours and in some cases services have been cancelled.

Gloucestershire’s Police and Crime Commissioner Martin Surl, who is currently waiting at London Paddington train station, tweeted ‘no underground and all trains back to #glos cancelled’.

Sat at Paddington,, no underground and all trains back to #glos cancelled. The British are incredibly patient.

John Smith II says...

Curiously this article appears to be illustrated with a picture of an electric train operating somewhere on the East Coast Main Line.

I wonder if a story about Sainsbury's would be illustrated with a stock photo of a Tesco store? Or for that matter one about British Airways with a stock photo of a Virgin Atlantic plane?

There is no way that that train could be operating anywhere between Gloucester and London!
