BRITISHTransport Police are appealing for information about a man who pushed a female member of train staff.

Officers are appealing for the public’s help to identify the man involved in the incident at Gloucester railway station on Monday, January 13.

PC Frank Hedley, of BTP Gloucester, said: “Station staff were checking tickets at the gateline barrier when a male passenger attempted to exit the station without clearly showing his ticket.

“Staff asked the man to show his ticket but he became abusive towards a female member of staff before pushing her out of the way as he made off from the station.”

Enquiries have been ongoing to trace the man responsible. Officers are now seeking the public’s help to identify the man in these photographs as it is believed he will have key information which can assist police.
