FORMER MP David Drew is favourite to win the Stroud constituency seat in the 2015 General Election, according to Ladbrokes.
The betting company released odds for the seat on Monday, February 24.
Labour’s David Drew is favourite to win at 4/9 with Tory MP Neil Carmichael in second at 7/4.
UKIP is in third place at 33/1.
The party recently announced Caroline Stephens, a former banker from North Wiltshire, as its prospective parliamentary candidate to contest the Stroud seat.
Stroud is considered a key battleground for the 2015 election.
It features 16th on Labour’s 106 must win seats to secure a majority.
Stroud is also considered part of the Conservative 40-40 campaign strategy, where it will target 40 new seats in marginal constituencies and pour efforts into keeping another 40 where current MPs have slim majorities.
