STROUD District Council is set to freeze its share of council tax for the coming year.
A budget report, going to full council tonight, recommends no increase.
The report shows SDC’s precept for 2014/15 as £7,640,184 which equates to a band D rate of £186.93.
Yesterday, during a budget meeting at Shire Hall, Gloucestershire County Council froze its share of council tax.
However, Gloucestershire’s Police and Crime Commissioner Martin Surl increased his share of council tax by 1.99 per cent to a band D rate of £207.73.
Many parish and town councils have also increased their share of council tax.
