Food Festival to debut at this year’s Cotswold Show
THIS year’s Cotswold Show on 5 and 6 July at Cirencester Park has a brand new attraction, a Food Festival.
Food and drink have always been a big part of the Show but this year’s Festival will see over 100 stallholders in three, joined marquees.
The Festival is being supported by BITE in association with The Cotswold Table who will bring food and drink suppliers, as well as artisan potters and tableware providers, and Taste of the West who have a fabulous array of members from the Cotswolds and throughout the Westcountry.
Claudia Wilson, Show Director says: “The food pavilion has always been a popular part of the Show but we want to make it a major feature. Not only will we have more stallholders than ever before but we’re also bringing in some Cotswold street food traders to the area. It’s going to be a really delicious addition to the Show.”
Julian Ebbutt, Festival Director for BITE comments: “We are delighted to be part of The Cotswold Show, to have the opportunity to showcase some of the regions finest artisan producers."
Taste of the West is calling on members to get involved at this year’s event. John Sheaves, Chief Executive for Taste of the West says “We’re delighted here at Taste of the West to be involved with the Cotswold Show. This traditional country show highlights the current importance and love of produce from the Westcountry. With the show organisers expecting over 35,000 visitors over the two days, it creates a superb opportunity for local food and drink producers to showcase their fantastic products.”
Members can find a booking form on the Taste of the West website www.tasteofthewest.co.uk.
The Food Festival is not taking any space away from the other tradestands – the Show will once again be a great shopping destination with room for over 150 stands.
Application forms for food traders and other exhibitors are available on the Show website www.cotswoldshow.co.uk/trade-information.
