FORMER Maidenhill students have been invited to sign up to a new network which will keep them informed of what is happening at the school.

The network has been launched to coincide with the Stonehouse school’s £3.8 million transformation which after 18 months has seen massive improvements to the site in King’s Road both indoors and out.

An open evening to unveil the finished refurbishments has been planned on Thursday, March 20 and the entire Stonehouse community is being invited to view the improvements to the school which has served Stonehouse since 1957.

Head teacher Pam Wilson would also like to encourage as many former students as possible to come along to the evening.

“We are really looking forward to showing off our new facilities to members of both the local and school community,” she said.

To sign up to the portal go to the school’s website maidenhill.gloucs.sch.uk
