HRH The Duke of Kent visited the Stroud Masonic Hall for lunch today, Thursday.
Accompanied by Dame Janet Trotter, Lord Lieutenant of Gloucestershire, and The Hon Hugh Tollemache, High Sheriff of Gloucestershire, he arrived at The Hill in Merrywalks just before 12.45pm.
Provincial Grand Master for Gloucestershire Adrian Davies and his wife Angela hosted lunch for around 60 guests.
The duke, who is Grand Master of The United Grand Lodge of England, later attended a service to celebrate the work of local Freemasons at Gloucester Cathedral at 4pm.
