GLOUCESTERSHIRE Police has launched a survey asking the public for help to shape the look of the uniform that officers wear.

Participants in the survey will be asked a number of questions about their thoughts on police uniform including whether it matters what officers wear, practicality, portraying a professional image and cost.

Chief Constable Suzette Davenport said "The appearance of Gloucestershire police officers is an important part of how we interact with the public and helps shape their perception of us."
