One trader has reported that a fur collar worth several hundred pounds was stolen from their stall. Police are investigating.

There was an incident of minor disorder in the Guinness tent, one instance of suspected counterfeit money and one of pick-pocketing.

Overnight a toilet block in the car park was broken into and vandalised.

Superintendent Jim McCarthy said: "Given the size of the crowd in attendance at today's meeting, we have had only a small number of incidents reported and there has been a good positive atmosphere.

"Through effective cooperation between the various agencies, those relatively few and predominantly minor incidents were dealt with efficiently and with minimal impact upon those attending"
