STUDENTS at Maidenhill School have donated tables and chairs to schools in developing countries.

Education for All is a charity which re-uses school furniture in classrooms in developing countries and seeks to build a better understanding between children in the UK and students in developing countries to their equal and mutual benefit.

The school in Stonehouse was able to donate the furniture thanks to the refurbishment project which is now complete.

The students are now waiting to find out where the furniture has been sent including information about the school and the community it will benefit.

Headteacher Pam Wilson said: ”We are delighted to be working in partnership with Education for All to ensure that the furniture we donate benefits the people who need it most”
