Pity State Pensions aren't going up in line with the price of food.
Food is cheaper now than it ever was, go to Waitose in the evening, you can by a fresh chicken for about three pound and they are always reducing goods. Must be absolute bargain shopping in Lidl and Tesco when they reduce items. You can buy fresh veg and fruit at Bakers Arms for £1 a bowl, everything is cheap except the rubbish take away shops charging £15.99 for an unhealthy pizza or bucket greasy chicken when you could feed a family for days if you learnt how to cook. Ilford High Street has shops where you can buy 2 kilo of various pulses for £1.99, sack rice for a fiver, sack of onions two quid, sack spuds £3.99, pitta bread 5 packs for a pound! You just have to look instead of ordering from those glossy leaflets shoved through your door to get food by a gas guzzling smoking moped delivery rider.

Eat healthy stay healthy and be less of a burden on the NHS."
