YOUNG poets at Minchinhampton School recently had the chance to show their work to members of Nailsworth Rotary Club.
The club sponsored the school’s Poetry Competition, and two Rotarians visited the school to present the prizes.
The winner in each of three categories – Elizabeth Hands for Years 1 and 2, Archie Dowie for Years 3 and 4, and Rosie Hodges for Years 5 and 6 - each received a book token, and certificates were also awarded for entries which were Commended or Highly Commended.
Teresa Drover, President of Nailsworth Rotary, presented the prizes.
