ANIMAL lovers are hoping the force will be with them during a fundraising drive.

Wendy Tucker, from Stroud, is using an Ewok doll to raise money for the £2.5 million Cotswolds Dogs and Cats home planned for Cambridge, near Dursley.

Supporters can donate to have their photo taken with the cuddly creature at various locations around the Cotswolds.

Slad-based racehorse trainer Tom George has already posed.
