POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a motorist hit a 10-year-old boy in Stroud and failed to stop.
The boy was riding his scooter when he was struck by a dark blue 4x4 vehicle, believed to be a Vauxhall Frontera, in Thrupp Lane at 5.15pm on Wednesday, April 2.
He suffered cuts and bruises to his knee and elbow.
The driver of the car is described as female, aged late-40s and with long brown hair.
Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting incident number 372 of April 2.
