Police are appealing for witnesses after a man died in a collision near Northleach late yesterday (Monday April 7).
The incident happened at about 11.35pm on the A429 Fosse Way between Northleach roundabout and Stow, close to Farmington Quarry.
A 37-year-old man from Farnborough in Hampshire was driving a white Ford Transit van that left the road and struck a tree. Sadly the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road remained closed for six hours to allow a detailed collision investigation. Officers are appealing for anybody with information, who has not already spoken to police, to contact them on 101, quoting incident 512 of April 7.
