NEW independent Stroud trader Denise Ballard is following a family tradition by moving into the retail industry.
Denise has opened contemporary lifestyle shop, Fourteen, in the former premises of Kane’s Record Shop on Kendrick Street.
She stocks an eclectic mix of cards, gift wrap, toys, jewellery, home furnishing and china
Denise said: “My brother runs Cotswold Appliances in Stroud and my parents used run Wash-Vac Services in the High Street.
“I opened on Friday and have had lots of positive feedback.”
