DOZENS of amoosingly decorated cows will be dotted around Amberley to help raise money for the primary school.

The bank holiday weekend, Saturday, 3 to Sunday, May 4, will see the return of Amberley Parochial School’s Cow Hunt, celebrating the forthcoming arrival of the real ones.

More than 30 wooden cows will be located around the village with the hunt starting at 1pm and running until 5pm, on both afternoons.

Families can rest and refresh at a vintage cake and tea tent, while face painting and other activities will be underway alongside a Cow Hunt quiz.

Quiz sheets and trail maps will be available from the start of the trail – outside Amberley Parochial School.

Funds raised go to help the school, as well as Send a Cow which provides livestock for families in Africa.
