THE Stroud Truck Pull Challenge is set to return for a second year.
Last year's truck pull was organised as part of a fundraising campaign in aid of the Door Youth Project which bought Harry Potter star Rupert Grint to the town.
The event which takes place between 12noon and 4.30pm on Bank Holiday Monday, May 26 will see teams of 15 go head to head in a race to pull an eight tonne lorry along Merrywalks.
Once again the lorries have been donated by Dairy Crest.
Anyone interested in registering a team for the truck pull challenge should contact event organiser Gary Gardner on gary.s.gardner@icloud.com or 07809635014.
Anyone who would like to volunteer as a marshal for the event should also get in touch
