CHALFORD Parish Council has several thousand poppy seeds to give away to those who want to make a contribution to history.

The poppy seeds are currently available from the parish centre for anyone who wishes to mark the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War.

Residents are invited to get their seeds now in preparation for sowing from April to July.

Pick up a packet from the parish centre in Gerald’s Way.
