TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage in connection with a number of incidents in Stroud overnight.

A statue was thrown through a car windscreen in Woodlands Close, Eastcombe, yesterday evening, Wednesday.

Then shortly before midnight all the windows of a Ford Transit were reported smashed in Folly Lane.

Also overnight six vehicles were attacked in Summer Street and the windows of three of them were smashed.

In a separate incident house windows were smashed in Stanton Road and Hillcrest Road.

Officers investigating the crimes are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone who lives in the area that hasn’t reported damage to their car from the weekend, to call police on 101 quoting incident 43 of April 24.
