Dog owners urged to take Walk Your Dog Week challenge at Westonbirt Arboretum

Dog owners are being challenged to walk their pet every day during Walk Your Dog Week from Monday, April 28 to Monday, May 5.

The campaign started by Forestry Commission England is in place to get owners walking their dogs with as an estimated 2.7 million of UK dogs not getting enough exercise with one third overweight.

Westonbirt Arboretum in Gloucestershire welcomes dog walkers to an area known as Silk Wood where dogs can run freely provided they are under control.
