A NEW online interactive map allows users to see what health and environmental risks are most likely in their area.
Click on the link below to find out the risks in the Stroud district.
The map created by the Small Area Health Statistics Unit (SAHSU) has been developed as a resource for the public, researchers and anyone working in the public health sector to better understand the environmental agents and health conditions in England and Wales.
Health conditions included in the study:
- Lung cancer
- Breast cancer
- Prostate cancer
- Malignant melanoma
- Bladder cancer
- Leukaemia
- Brain cancer
- Mesothelioma
- Liver cancer
- Heart disease
- COPD
- Kidney disease
- Still birth
- Low birth weight
