A TEENAGE female crash victim was cut free from a car by a fire crew after a smash in Stroud this afternoon.
Emergency services raced to the crash outside the Co-op in Slad Road just before 1pm.
Police closed the road as a fire crew cut open and removed the roof from a red Renault Clio which was involved in a collision with another vehicle.
The 18-year-old Stroud woman in the car was taken out of the wreckage on a body board then moved to a stretcher by paramedics.
She appeared to be conscious and had suffered a suspected neck injury, said police.
She was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for a check-up.
Her car was involved in a collision with a grey Vauxhall Astra, driven by a 29-year-old Stroud man. He and another woman were not injured.
