A NEW chapter has opened at a village primary school with the official opening of Amberley’s Enchanted Book Emporium.
Amberley Primary School has re-named its library to make it more interesting to pupils.
Lord Lieutenant Dame Janet Trotter had the honour of opening the Emporium on Friday, April 25.
Dame Janet was also given a tour of the school by Year 6 pupils Ollie Loe and Isobel Cross.
A competition was held for pupils to re-name the library with the winning name conjured up by Year 3 pupil Olivia Hinch.
Headteacher Peter Godfrey said: “The new name is sure to regenerate interest in the library.”
