A TEENAGER has been charged with a burglary in Quedgeley.
The 16-year-old Gloucester boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with the break-in at a home in Squirrel Close and will appear at Gloucester Youth Court on Thursday, June 26.
A money tin and handbag were taken from a house during the incident that happened overnight on Wednesday, May 14.
Police are also speaking to the youth about a total of seven other burglaries in Quedgeley and Hardwicke in April and May.
Many of the burglaries were at insecure properties and police in Gloucester are currently trying to address this by reminding people of the need to keep houses locked and secure.
