Stroud will pay witness to a “touching” gesture on May 31, with hundreds choosing to face endurance challenges to raise money to help beloved friend and family member Rob Camm.
280 people will be walking and running distances up to and including the marathon, to raise money for Rob, who was tragically paralysed after a car accident in September 2013.
Family friend Sharon Bathurst said: “It has been a very difficult time and it is nice to be able to do something for him, Rob is very touched by the support.”
Money raised will contribute towards vital equipment and care for Rob and donations can be made at www.cammpaign4rob.co.uk
