POLICE in Gloucester are appealing for information after a woman's house in the city was attacked in the early hours of Sunday, May 18.
The resident was in bed when unknown offenders sprayed offensive graffiti on the front of the house and threw several petrol bombs at the back of the property on Ashgrove Avenue between 2.15am and 2.30am.
The offenders are believed to have been riding bikes and wearing dark headgear.
While damage was caused, fortunately no one was injured.
Detective inspector Gavin Webb said: "We're keeping an open mind as to what the motive for this was but clearly there could have been a far worse outcome.
"Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or with any information should call 101 straight away, quoting incident 51 of April 18.”
