MAKE the most of today’s sun as heavy rain is set to hit Stroud in the early hours of tomorrow morning, Thursday.
A yellow weather warning has been issued by the Met Office for tomorrow.
Rain will begin to fall at around 3am and last until about 7pm.
Wet spells aren’t expected to finish until Wednesday next week as the rain is due to sweep through the Five Valleys.
Despite the rain, temperatures should not drop below 11 degrees Celsius with highs of 16 throughout the week.
Wednesday could see highs of 21 degrees Celsius.
A spokesman for the Met Office said: “You can expect to see around 40mm of rainfall tomorrow however after Thursday the heavy rain will lessen.
“There is a potential for standing water on the roads so drivers should adjust their driving to these weather conditions and take more care.”
