EVERYONE can be a winner with this year’s ‘Race 4 All’ fun-run, which takes place on Minchinhampton Common on June 8.
The 5 kilometre run begins at 3pm and attracted 96 runners in its inaugural running last year. Race 4 All has an added fundraising incentive- with runners who raise over £100 for charity being entered into a prize draw to win £100 worth of sports clothing or an £100 voucher for Bath Spa.
Organised by young-peoples charity The Door Youth Project, Race 4 All is an event ‘which offers something for everyone’ with trophies available for male and female runners, plus a number of veteran classes and a new primary school age race.
Brendan Conboy, Chief Executive, of The Door Youth Project, said: “It is such an incredible feeling to be able to see people so passionate about running and willing to raise funds for a charity of their choice.
“In my opinion everyone that takes part is a winner, this really is a ‘win win’ event and the taking part is just great fun” he added.
Runners can run for a charity of their choice, and are being urged to sign up before the deadline of June 4. Volunteers are also needed.
