POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on Wednesday, May 21.
The collision on the A40 between the Burford and Northleach Roundabouts near to the turning for Windrush happened at approximately 10.45am
Three vehicles were involved, a bronze Suzuki motorcycle, a white LDV dropside lorry and a silver Audi A6 Estate which were all travelling in the Cheltenham bound direction.
The rider of the Suzuki motorcycle, a 22 year old male from Scotland, received serious injuries and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Occupants of the other vehicles involved were uninjured in the incident.
The road was closed for a number of hours while the investigation into the collision took place.
Any witnesses to the collision who have not already been spoken to by Police are requested to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101 and quote incident 156 of 21 May 14.
